~Dayang 4 Bob~

I can't remember clearly whether or not I have mentioned a fact regarding the production of Lenggok Noraniza Idris, in which one of the compiled song :: Tandang Bermadah :: is supposed to be featuring Dayang Nurfaizah as Noraniza's duet partner :: Dayang has once sung the song during the AJL-18 intro bit and she presented the song very well indeed!!

Well, BAD NEWS :: The fact is, it's not gonna happen anyway :: To take Dayang Nurfaizah for her duet partner would mean that Noraniza needs to delay the publication of Lenggok for a month time - too long a period of time for me to bear!!

What a pity! I wish the 2 could actually sing a duet combination :: it would definitely be a bombastic combination!!

Nonetheless, I am not saddened by the change of plan though! Coz the same song will now feature Bob AF2 :: What can I say?!! :: I have fallen in love with Bob's vocal performance since AF2 started back in Summer 2005 :: The combined power of Noraniza Idris and Bob AF2 in Noraniza's Tandang Bermadah makes me even more restless waiting for the album to be produced!!

Noraniza Idris has made a press statement in the local programme

:: Lenggok Noraniza Idris ::
A tribute to her 2-decade involvement in the local music industry!!

Quoting the words from SawoMatang forum by Hazlyn:
"Hari Isnin baru2 ni Kak Ani jadi guest kat WHI
Kak Ani ada mention psl Lenggok
Kalo tak silap dengar Kak Ani kata kuar dlm masa 2 minggu"

And the Monday as per referred by Lyn (nama manja Hazlyn hehe) should be the 22nd May 2006; which means Lenggok Noraniza Idris should be out and about around 5th June 2006!!

As a fan, I am certainly over-excited about this news!!
And for this, let us all start the celebration by the release of Dikir GUBU - yet another tribute to A-N-I's beloved visitors!!

Those of you who haven't heard of the story, some things are better left unsaid...

But to those of you who have heard about the gossip, now that Noraniza has stood up and spoken out, we should all make it clear that the words cannot go around any longer!! I urge everybody not to believe in the gossip henceforth and respect the claim made by Noraniza herself!!

Especially for Guest007 coz I've decided not to upload the Dikir Puteri performance by Noraniza Idris during AJL 1998 for this week hehe...
Reason being is bcoz some of us have never seen the Dikir Puteri Vid Clip, and so i think we need to go for appetizers before we serve people with a great unbearable delicious outstanding menu haha (exageration... i know i know...)

~A Song for GUBU~

In conjunction with the release of Noraniza Idris latest album :: Lenggok :: A-N-I will be publishing a freshly innovated song dedicated for GUBU and our beloved loyal visitors

In construction of the song itself, 7 Phases would need to be completed:

Phase 1: Ideation of whole Musical Interventions
Phase 2: Production of Minus One
Phase 3: Reconstruction of Lyrics
Phase 4: Embeding Backup Vocals
Phase 5: Blending in Solo's Choruses
Phase 6: Beautifying Final touch
Phase 7: Release of Song

We have already completed Phase 1 & 2
We are currently undergoing Phase 3
We expect Phase 4 - 6 to be completed before the release date of Lenggok
& certainly we hope to be able to publish the song on the same day as when Lenggok is announced to be released in stores

A-N-I would like to ensure you that we will give our very best to satisfy your wait... Though having said that, please do not put high expectations, for the song is merely an innovation of Noraniza Idris orignal single... ... ... Only going to be a little bit different, flowing with the soul of A-N-I's owner hehe

In AJL 1997, Noraniza didn't win the Best Performance trophy through her Zapin presentation with Awallah Dondang, but instead the award was given to Siti Nurhaliza for her performance through the song Aku Cinta Padamu

I personally was quite gutted with the juries' decisions back then, because for me, the beauty of Zapin Tenglu should win over the little girls' Ballet Dancing, not to mention the Zapin choreography was joined together by Noraniza herself in comparison to Siti Nurhaliza who only stood in the middle and made a few steps here and there throughout the performance.

Now that you have watched these 2 clips, you tell me why Noraniza Idris shouldn't win the trophy hehe
