Bisikan Hubahku berbaur Gundah..

Everybody knows :: My HUBAH for Noraniza Idris is unquestionable :: But what some doesnt know is that, besides her, there are many other LOVE OF MY HEARTS - amongst whom Waheeda is sitting around the top of my list - just slightly below Noraniza in hierarchy!! And honestly after reading this article from Utusan.com my heart is SHRED into pieces!! I was blown off - Surprised & SHOCKED by the press-statement ::

I adore Waheeda not only for her style of musics and vocal skills, but also for her personality, credibility and celeb-quality :: HONESTLY, WHO ELSE IS THERE IN MALAYSIA who came out and about as a singer, totally preserving the Hijab appearance, let alone being famous, fully educated and fluent in LANGUAGES!!

She IS definitely ONE OF A KIND :: Sugar, Spice & Everything is NICE about her :: Sweet; Cute; Lovely; Smart; Adorable; You NAME IT!! The list is endless!!

I therefore see this as a GREAT LOSS to our local music industry :: If Waheeda happens to decide not to persue her musical career any longer :: We need a healthy local musical environment :: And for that, we need people like Waheeda around!!

Shame.. Personal path in life is of no bussiness of mine..
Whatever she decides, LET IT BE..
But WAHEEDA will always be EL-WAHEEDAH FI QALBI... THOOL 3OMRI.. BI-KULLI DAWAAM!!

Waheeda sedia berundur diri dari dunia seni

“Saya bersedia meninggalkan bidang seni pada bila-bila masa.” Begitu kata Waheeda ketika ditemui selepas menjaya showcase Suria fm di ibu kota, baru-baru ini.

“Sebab sekarang saya bekerja sebagai pengarah pemasaran di sebuah syarikat penerbitan. Jadi besar kemungkinan saya akan ke Dubai untuk kerja-kerja pemasaran pada akhir tahun ini. Dan saya tak tahu berapa lama saya akan berada di sana,” jelas Waheeda tentang kesediaannya berundur diri daripada bidang seni.

Biarpun sudah enam tahun terlibat dalam bidang seni, kata Waheeda, dia tidak berasa rugi sekiranya keputusan untuk berundur dilakukannya.

“Kalau saya berhenti menyanyi mungkin saya masih lagi terlibat dalam kerja-kerja belakang tabir. Saya akan menghasilkan lagu-lagu untuk penyanyi lain dan dalam pada itu saya boleh beri tumpuan pada kerja-kerja saya sebagai pengarah pemasaran,” katanya.

Cinta terhalang

Apakah mungkin keputusan itu dibuat kerana ada kaitan dengan hubungan cintanya yang ditentang oleh keluarga kekasihnya?

Tersenyum penyanyi bertudung lingkup ini tatkala ditanyakan soalan itu. Namun Waheeda enggan mengiya atau menafikannya.

Pun begitu, Waheeda mengakui memang hubungan cintanya baru-baru ini melalui dugaan hebat sehingga mencabar perancangannya untuk menyimpul ikatan perkahwinan dengan seorang jejaka kacukan Arab pada penghujung tahun ini.

“Saya sendiri tak sangka akan jadi begini selepas setahun kami berkawan. Hubungan kami baik dan tiada masalah. Malah saya sendiri pernah berjumpa dengan ibunya. Ibunya okay, dapat menerima saya tapi saudara mara dia tak dapat menerima saya hanya kerana saya bukan wanita berdarah kacukan Arab,” kata Waheeda terus terang.

Reda dengan keadaan itu, kata Waheeda, hubungannya dengan bekas kekasihnya itu masih juga terjalin hingga hari ini.

“Kami masih meneruskan hubungan. Tapi cuma sebagai kawan sebab antara kami tak ada masalah,” katanya.

Akuinya lagi, peringkat awal kekecewaan itu ditempuhinya, dia berasa sangat tertekan. Tetapi alhamdulillah, semua itu ditanganinya dengan baik.

Melodi Ahlan album terakhir

Mungkin juga Melodi Ahlan akan menjadi buah tangan terakhir daripada Waheeda. Album yang mengambil waktu pembikinan selama setengah tahun itu dijangka akan menemui peminat seni tempatan sekitar Mac ini.

“Saya bertindak selaku penerbit dan menghasilkan lima buah lagu. Lima lagu lagi dicipta oleh komposer lain termasuk Cat Farish, Yassin, Hafiz Unic dan kawan-kawan sendiri.

“Album ini juga menampilkan banyak kelainan. Antaranya lirik iaitu ada lima bahasa (Arab, Inggeris, Sepanyol, Hindi dan Afrika) dan adik saya turut serta dengan bermain gitar untuk beberapa lagu. Tapi album ini masih mengekal konsep terdahulu iaitu World Music. Keseluruhannya saya berpuas hati dengan album ini kerana sepenuhnya idea saya,” katanya mengenai album tersebut yang diterbitkan bersama-sama MIG Records.

Tambah Waheeda lagi, album tersebut juga mungkin album terakhir dirinya bersama MIG Records.

“Kontrak saya bersama MIG akan berakhir tahun ini. Saya sendiri tak tahu sama ada mahu melanjutkan kontrak atau tidak,” katanya.

This song (originally called Pawaka Pawana) was first heard by Noraniza Idris in December 2005, when a group called Mohram performed this song in its instrumental version in Penang (invited as guest artists in conjunction with the Extra Vaganza Malaysia/Singapore programme by RTM) :: Felt strongly attached and attracted towards the melodious flute-based rhythm, Noraniza immediately asked for Mohar's consent to compile the song as her second debut in Lenggok 20 Tahun (after Racau Sang Khalifah) :: Mohar, being extremely cooperative, generously allowed Noraniza the privilege of ownership upon the song :: The song was then re-arrranged by Noraniza to suit her style with help from Firdaus, her music arranger - a difficult job indeed at first, but succesfully done to produce a delightful newly-arranged melody, entitled Asyik Bisikan Hubah ::

Asyik Bisikan Hubah potrays a Javanese ethnic element with a modernized music composition, preserving the flute as its essence, whilst the traditional element being strongly characterized by and beautified with a carefully-tuned vocal performance by Noraniza herself :: The lyrics tale about LOVE - humanity's spiritual motivation and source of strength in facing challenges in life!!

I personally find that this song is very stimulating indeed!! From all the songs compiled in Lenggok 20 Tahun, ASYIK BISIKAN HUBAH IS BY FAR THE BEST!! This would be the 3rd time that Noraniza has ever featured a Javanese-based song in her albums (after Putera Lantai Emas in AURA & Hatinya Tak Tahan in SAWO MATANG) :: Nevertheless, ASYIK BISIKAN HUBAH still stands as one of a kind!! It does not at all resembles Noraniza's previous Javanese musics :: The fresh music arrangement together with Noraniza's powerful Javanese vocal presentation really makes me think that this song can actually become one of her HIT songs - equating or perhaps even exceeding her achievement with HATINYA TAK TAHAN ::

However, this is just my perception of the possible consequences given that ASYIK BISIKAN HUBAH is promoted all over Malaysia :: The fact is, this might not just happen - at least not YET! WHY?? Simply because the song hasn't been able to get through the local market due to our local radio stations not keen about playing the song over their channels :: It is quite a shame that this song is not as popular :: Perhaps it needs more time?? Who knows..

The nearly-a-week-long recording process has finally come to an end! After much configuration, editing, enhancing and compiling, I have successfully finalize the tune for the song given to me by Bro Fedtri Yahya :: Thanx to your contribution :: Sarah, Nadhrah, WanZue, MinCi & Mirul :: this song has been compiled in a special way that 2 versions are recorded simultaneously :: Pop-Balad & Traditional Ethnic styles :: Beza Sama Berbeda & Di Atas Layar Cinta

To those of you who are new to A-N-I and haven't got the chance to get to know bro Ahmad Fedtri Yahya :: He is indeed an icon for Noraniza Idris :: He is by far the main reason why I can get so attached to Noraniza Idris today :: He is AHMAD FEDTRI YAHYA - the one and only hehe

He works for TV3, amongst the programs of which he hosts are Malaysia Hari Ini, Siti Nurhaliza's Wedding, etc (there's one new program he got in charge quite recently but i just cant remember) :: He also writes lyrics for Malaysia local artists including Noraniza Idris & most recently Nora & Liza Hanim ::

It is an honour for me to get to know him in person, & here's the song which was produced by Sharon Paul, lyrics written by him & me being given the honour to sing the DEMO version!! Many thanx bro Fedtri for this experience!! I hope you'll like this song as much as you like all the previous ones!!
