1 Syawal will be meeting us again this year, and I can only say Thank You Ever So Much to those who have been willing to make my Eid a great moment to be cherished for, although sadly there'd be literally NO EID for me this year due to some unwanted circumstances
Then again, Syawal is a month of joy, and I shall never let any circumstances spoil the mood

Majlis Berbuka Puasa

On the 13th of October 2006, Noraniza Idris had held a get-together iftar ceremony to celebrate the orphans in conjunction with the Holy Month of Ramadhan...
This was held in Taman Mini Malaysia, Ayer Keroh, Melaka, in which Noraniza Idris has been its chief administrator for quite some time now...
Following is the event as per described by one of the huge fans of Noraniza Idris, bro Nasa, who has been a very active member of Noraniza Idris Fan Club, mANIra

"Assalamualaikom everybody
Yesterday, the 13th of October, Kak Ani has held an iftar ceremony in Taman Mini Malaysia, Melaka. Dr Isa, Yusli and I have attended the ceremony.
It started with guests registration. 40 orphans were celebrated for the ceremony
Nearly 100 guests attended including the sponsors :: Tourism Malaysia, Ripley's Believe It or Not, Fauziah Latif (Jee) etc...

After Iftar we prayed Maghrib together in Rumah Indonesia and then we enjoyed the buffet whilst some dancing performance (Java dance by Gerak Budaya TMMA dancers) was presented to us
Kak Ani didnt perform any songs, but we were still entertained by the Gerak Budaya dancers...
Meanwhile, during the occasion, some 'Duit Raya' was also distributed to the orphans by Kak Ani herself...

Later, guests performed Isya prayer and Taraweeh together and the ceremony was called for the night.

Our mANIra president, Mr Fedtri Yahya was not around because he had something important to attend...
I had the chance to ask Kak Ani about her new album and Racau Sang Khalifah nomination for Semi Final AJL 2006
Kak Ani said to me that the album will definitely be released after Aidilfitri and regarding the nomination, she will nevertheless give her VERY BEST!!"

p/s: For public information, Racau Sang Khalifah has been nominated in the Muzik-Muzik show on 7th of September 2006 (a day after my birthday!! huhu) and has qualified for SemiFinal AJL 2006, but I didnt feature the event here yet because I was focusing on my Birthday Trip to Ireland. Plus, Ramadhan was around the corner so I suppose it'd be best to feature it after Eid or at least before Anugerah Juara Lagu 2006 starts later this year ;)

To End, I must thank bro Nasa for being very kind indeed to let me feature his pictures and stories in my blog

Eid Greetings

Today is 15th Ramadhan in the UK :: which means we have only 15 days left before Ramadhan is totally over!! :: And 15 days are short :: really really short :: We will then need to wait for another year :: full of uncertainties :: whether or not we will be able to meet the next coming Ramadhan to repent and ask for forgiveness from Lord Almighty... -sigh-

O Friend!! Let us all maximise whatever time we have for us to fully enjoy this Ramadhan :: Ramadhan Kareem :: Ramadhan Mubarak :: Taqabbalallahu minna wa minkum salihul a3mal


On another note, 15th day is kinda good!! :: Yerp, you might think that this is pathetic, but I dont care :: SERIOUSLY !! :: Coz it's my nature to being pathetic :: So why bother? Haha ::

Well, put it simple :: I guess 15th Ramadhan is a reasonable date for people to start sending Eid Greeting Cards to each other :: in conjunction with the upcoming Eidul Fitr season ::

Which brings us to my sole reason behind this very entry!!

Frankly, I always long to receive Eid Greeting Cards from people during Ramadhan :: Coz it has been our culture, hasnt it?? :: If I'm in Malaysia, I bet I'd receive a whole bunch of Eid Cards from everywhere :: Not bcoz I'm popular :: But friends always do send me Cards!! Best ok kawan2 aku hehe ::

But here in the UK, it's nearly impossible to receive one :: Their Ramadhan is not as lively as Ramadhan in Malaysia :: Let alone sending Eid Cards :: It's not their culture, i guess :: So be it... -tapi aku nak kad raya!! nanti nak gantung apa ocay masa raya kalo takde kad? dah bosan gantung ketupat huhu-

Therefore, in my effort to receive some Kad Raya Aidilfitri 2006 from other people, I have decided to make a fair deal!! :: Read on if you are interested ::


I have 8 Kad Raya in hand :: For whatever reason I brought them since MBBS1 :: But up to MBBS4 I've never used them :: So this year I want to send one back home for my family :: Which leaves me 7 extra Kad Raya with untold fate ::

Now, for the sake of WANTING TO RECEIVE some EID GREETING CARDS year 2006 :: I'm offering to send these Kad Raya to those who'd be willing to send me one of theirs!!! :: I know I have nothing much to offer, but as pathetic and desperate as I am, I seriously wish that 7 of you guys who read this entry till the end would want to 'barter' some Eid Cards with me!! Huhuhu nampak hina sangat ke aku meminta camni ?? :: Yet again, I DONT CARE!! Haha -aku nak jugak kad raya!!-
